The local farmers’ markets are gearing up to open for the season. Below are the dates, times, and places you can get some home-grown produce, purchase some artisan crafts, and meet your neighbors — all while supporting your community.
Farmers Market at the AP Garden Center

- Run by the Perquimans High School Future Farmers of America students
- Opens Saturday, June 3
- Hours are every Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon

Edenton Farmers Market
- Open every Wednesday and Saturday from May through December
- Has two locations and times Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon at 730 N. Granville St. in Edenton (near Walgreens)
- Wednesdays from 3-7 p.m. at 200 N. Broad St., Edenton (opposite St. Anne’s Church)
