Dedicated to health care, hospitals are the healing centers for a host of diseases and other physical & mental conditions. With specialized staff to look into specific concerns and abnormalities, today’s hospitals are known for their hospitality. In addition, the immensely responsible hospital staff make hospitals more than just a house for the sick. Today’s hospitals are equipped with state-of-the art technology and infrastructure to serve the masses, which is also the reason why many people are flocking these places for their health concerns.  And luckily for us, we have many in the area to meet all of our needs.

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA is another large hospital in our area that shares a name with its local Albemarle affiliate but a much different experience.   SNGH is a large academic hospital, which serves as the primary teaching institution for the adjacent Eastern Virginia Medical School.  The hospital serves as the Hampton Roads region’s only Level I trauma center The hospital is interconnected to the Sentara Heart Hospital, however, it is considered a separate institution.
