Are you looking to have fun? Would you like to get some exercise while doing it? Then you have to try…Line Dancing! Line Dancing is great fun and good exercise for your body and mind. After a short hiatus, Line Dancing is back! The first sessions in 2023 start on Monday, January 9. Classes meet each Monday afternoon at the Community Center throughout most of the year (there is a break for the month of August and part of September).
There are currently three groups: beginners meet at 3:30 p.m., an intermediate level meets at 4:30 p.m., and an advanced beginner group starts at 5:30 p.m. Each class lasts approximately 45 minutes. Please note: classes fill up quickly and class size can be limited due to the overall space available.
Sounds like fun but you have no experience? No problem. Beginner classes are for residents who have no prior experience. You will learn all of the basic
steps to traditional country line dances and gradually be introduced to more advanced steps, including some contemporary dances.
The instructors are Sheryl Corr and Sue Hivner. They are volunteers who love to dance.
People are line dancing everywhere you go. Come join the fun and you too will be able to step, stomp, and stroll with the best of them.
