Like many of us, Anna and Vince were looking for just the right home. They had visited Albemarle Plantation several times to see their friends Hollie McGillicuddy and Jeff Dunn and were urged to take a look at some of the real estate available. They loved our community but, unfortunately none of the available homes seemed to be just right. In addition, Vince would have to commute to Virginia, so it didn’t make for an ideal situation.
It is said that timing is everything… Like so many others, Covid provided Vince the opportunity to work from home. He and Anna felt that now was the perfect time to reconsider AP and just like that, after four years of looking previously, the perfect home came on the market. Anna and Vince relocated from Chesapeake, Virginia and moved into Albemarle Plantation’s Woodside II community in August 2021.
Originally from Saratoga Springs, New York, Vince and Anna’s four children and five grandchildren are still in that area. Vince is a Buyer for a large retail chain and specializes in toys and books. Anna has been in retail for the past 15 years and is semi-retired.
What really appeals to Vince and Anna is the lifestyle here at Albemarle Plantation. They could find everything they wanted. From golf to fishing, from the charitable pursuits of the community to the onsite dining…it was all here. Anna loves to play golf and joined the ladies golf league. She also participates in the Meals on Wheels program. Vince is a golfer too, but he’s really excited in anticipation of spring to resume Bass fishing. I’m told he’ll be looking for a couple of buddies to fish with. I assure you, they won’t be hard to find.
Whether you’re on the golf course or on the water, be sure to say hello to Anna and Vince.
