Since the transfer of ownership was completed three weeks ago, we’ve been busy! In that time, we’ve closed on two properties and received offers on five others.
The number of people visiting the Plantation has also dramatically improved. This past Sunday we had one scheduled tour, yet by the end of the day, there were 11 tours because of 10 walk-ins.
In response to your request, and now that the ownership transfer is complete, we have a new company policy regarding re-sales. We’ve joined the local MLS and now treat all properties for sale equally. The early activity results bear this out. In the past week, there has been one closing and four offers written—three of these are re-sales.
On behalf of the Landquest team and the investors, I want to thank all of the residents of the Plantation for the warm welcome that has been extended.
Our team has been focused on addressing immediate resident concerns and a wide range of operational issues that come with a project such as this. In just one week, we have already implemented some tangible changes such as improved security at the construction entrance, removal of the stored items from the Garden Center building, painting of buildings, and repair of several decking problems at the marina. I would encourage you to watch for “Plantation Progress” signs for an indication that work is going on at that location.
